Now I get what you mean by bubbles!  I was a little worried because some beardies form actual bubbles on the surface of the eyes if they are suffering from an eye or a respiratory infection.  Not the case with your girl, just all part of her natural process.  Thanks for clarifying. Speaking of shedding, do you find that she loses her appetite during that time?

Funny Frog, you sure do have a hoard of reptiles and amphibians!  What a great close-up of Mr. Big Tommers.  He looks contended on his log.  Where did you get him?   And what inspired his name?

Tiffany Marie, aren’t silkies just the most wonderful of chickens.  Gentle and beautiful, and what good mothers they are!  I had a small black hen that liked nothing better than to fall asleep on the back of a goat dozing in the sun.  Such a Kodak moment.  And turkey poults chasing crickets are truly hysterical.  Are you raising turkeys for fun, as grasshopper eaters, for the dinner table?

I get it now.  Very cute name.  May I ask, why does she get bubbles in her eyes and how often?

Dino Dan, I do have a car insurance question….just kidding.  Does your mom feed you properly gut loaded crickets?  That is very important to ‘insure’ perfect health, you know.

Hah!  I know the feeling.  Great picture and we would sure like to know more about your drowsy pet and maybe even see some daylight pictures.

What causes Joey to rapidly change color?  Is it a response to background coloration or is it an emotional response?

Greetings NJS, I really applaud your efforts at appropriate rescue.  Do you have a favorite site that provides information for others wanting to rescue and not euthanize? It would be wonderful if we could include a link or two in this forum.  More pictures are always welcome as well.

Greetings to oh-so-photogenic Randal.  The crowd is waiting anxiously for more pics of the poster boy.  Plus, Randal’s pet parent might just win free crickets to keep that happy monster even happier.  Many future reptile owners need to have first-hand information on just how awesome these guys are, so please please do put up more pictures and engage us in conversation about the best things about Cresties.

Beans, you are awesome.  Does the world look different to you when you are upside down, or with those independently rotating eyes of yours can you make everything look just the same?  Why is upside down more appealing than rightside up?  Inquiring minds really do want to know!

Chief seems to have good taste in TV.  Does he watch the Animal Planet channel?  How long has Chief been an avid TV viewer?

Greedo is a handsome fellow with a regal demeanor.  Why the name ‘Greedo’?  I assume it has something to do with his love of crickets, but you never know.  Is the moniker ‘king’ because he is the king of chowing down, or is it because of his kingly bearing and nicely prominant crown?

Joey looks pretty happy and comfortable.  Can you share with readers the kind of chameleon he (she) is and what you like best about him, in addition to his smile?

A beardie named Gekko, too funny.  I once had a friend who named her cat ‘Pony’ and I have another friend who named his goat ‘Pig’.  We would love to get a gander at Gekko, so please do try to upload a picture of him.  Try to include a bit of the bioactive terrarium if you can because other readers are always interested in the specifics of keepers ‘bioactive’ experiences, what works, what doesn’t, what kinds of plants were planted, and so forth.  We look forward to the Pic!

Bubbles is sure a cutey!  Male or female?  And why the name Bubbles?  There surely is a story behind that!
