      Joey looks pretty happy and comfortable.  Can you share with readers the kind of chameleon he (she) is and what you like best about him, in addition to his smile?

      Joey is a panther chameleon. He is about a year old. What we like best about him is his ability to rapidly change colors as well as the way he chomps down crickets.

      What causes Joey to rapidly change color?  Is it a response to background coloration or is it an emotional response?

      It’s an emotional response. They don’t typically like being held so he will go from green and black to the colors you see in the picture when being held.
