ZoodulcisModeratorI think that must be true about her personality. How delightful for you. Is she your first hog?
ZoodulcisModeratorGlad to be of help. What do you think you will end up doing: waiting on the frog, getting a frog or two and not transporting them, or getting a more portable pet?
ZoodulcisModeratorGood Lord…that is fast. How old is she and was she handled frequently by a previous owner?
ZoodulcisModeratorHe sounds like an ideal first lizard companion. What made you decide on a leo instead of a beardie or other species?
ZoodulcisModeratorWas she originally a lockdown acquisition?
ZoodulcisModeratorThat’s one relaxed and trusting little hog. How long have you had her?
ZoodulcisModeratorYeah that water bowl thing is pretty common. Must look like a toilet to him.
ZoodulcisModeratorSo guess being an observant parent helps! Do buyers have a preference for males or females, or differing sizes?
ZoodulcisModeratorSunny seems to fit his personality as well! I bet he is a lot of company for you. I take it he is not your first gecko?
ZoodulcisModeratorCongratulations! How many molts until this sort of blessed event occurred?
ZoodulcisModeratorAn interesting question. My opinion is that the time may not be right for you to acquire a frog at this time. Or if you do, be sure to keep it in one residence only. The routine you are describing sounds sufficiently stressful that I wouldn’t place any money on the animal lasting more than 6 months. A really nice setup in your home with plenty of room, a good feeding schedule and maybe the occasional check by a pet sitter would be more humane. Otherwise, do consider a pet that is easy to handle and transport, like a hamster or a guinea pig.
ZoodulcisModeratorMakes sense. I am surprised they choose any particular one based on looks, because I would guess they all look pretty much alike and are all equally gorgeous.
ZoodulcisModeratorThat is one of the things I love most about Leos. Seeing that face makes people smile too! How old is he/she?
ZoodulcisModeratorNice frog furniture. She seems to be enjoying it. How long have you had her?
ZoodulcisModeratorAwesome photo! What’s his name?
