Yep, if you have not heard from the boss man, let me know by the 14th. I will forward the request to him directly.

I know putting a sleeping kid’s fingers in warm water when on a sleepover will get them to pee, much to the hilarity of their little fiends, I mean friends. Oooops, revealed a part of my misspent youth. But the warm water treatment for crickets and their parasites, not a clue, never heard of that one.

She sounds very lucky to be in your care. You probably know this already, but feeding wild-caught earthworms to chickens can result in blackhead disease. But other items should be OK as long as you worm your girls once a year.

Brahmas are so awesome and so huge. Do you give her crickets daily?

A day at the beach can really work up an appetite! He looks pretty well fed. Is he the youngest of your crew?

Wow he’s tinier than I thought he would be. It’s probably too early in the year where you are for hibiscus flowers, unless you are in Florida. All box turtles seem to be mad about them, so if available, perhaps those can tempt him to eat.

Some people have good luck with papaya powder as a temporary temptation. Honey on the food one time might work, but not more often. Baby food is also a temporary measure that should not be continued after one or two servings.

She seems to be trying to become arboreal. 😆 I too am curious, what morph is she?

Oh that’s awesome, I love Eastern box turtles. I had one that I got in Rhode Island when my dad took the whole family on a sabbatical there (history teacher) and we spent the summer in the dorms at the university. I took my little treasure back to San Diego with me and kept it for several years before rehoming him. I named him Rhody, of course, but what the heck, I was only 9!

Quite possibly, or wanted to avoid foods with a chitinous shell for a little while. Who knows? But I’m glad she’s doing well now.

Don’t worry Snorlax, everything you did was all above board. We have had many winners over the years who got 30 or more votes. Some months it’s a lot, some months it only 10 or 12. Keeps things interesting.
