ZoodulcisModeratorSame enclosure as the little frog?
ZoodulcisModeratorBurp, Rivet, Yum 😆
ZoodulcisModeratorSuper adorable photo of your own little superhero. Congratulations on the babies, I guess. Surprise!!! Do you have a second enclosure already set up for when they are a little bigger?
ZoodulcisModeratorThousand leggers!! What a fun name. I bet they are otherwise known as millipedes.
ZoodulcisModeratorShould be alright.
ZoodulcisModeratorHey AB, I deleted your other post. Having two identical posts can be confusing to your fans and friends. It’s best to have one only per species and that way friends don’t get confused and divide their votes. I have found this to be true for others in the past who didn’t win and should have, but they had multiple pictures of the same pet. Posting a new picture under different species may work well, not sure yet becaue not many people do that.
ZoodulcisModeratorGreat solution! Now I have learned something about pest control. I wonder if pepper works on other pests? It certainly is an organic option.
ZoodulcisModeratorThe green leafy part has the most nutrition. I would cut off the stemmy bits in order to prevent choking.
ZoodulcisModeratorThat must have been incredibly entertaining. I guess you’ll just have to order larvae from Critter Depot and let them age awhile 😉
ZoodulcisModeratorAB you have a vote from me! Get all of your friends to give you critter golds again for the month. There’s no reason they can’t do that.
ZoodulcisModeratorThese are challenging times for a lot of pet owners. They give us such comfort and entertainment, but they do cost us in monthly maintenance. There may be folks on Craigslist selling items such as lights and meters in your area. Some folks are finding that keeping their animals is too expensive and are rehoming their critters and selling used gear. Just a thought.
ZoodulcisModeratorI’m so pleased that the problem has been identified and no vet was necessary. He does sound like a little piggy. Do you ever make him fast for a day?
ZoodulcisModeratorWow!! Congratulations indeed. Were they a birthday or anniversary gift? Were you expecting this or was it a total surprise?
ZoodulcisModeratorHey, mashed prunes do the trick for everyone! So does canned pumpkin. Was he on a sand substrate prior to coming into your care?
ZoodulcisModeratorSome coiled bulbs had wavelength issues prior to 2010. Those have mostly been solved and safety is not a concern. Strength of UV can be a concern and many keepers feel the new bulbs, although safe, are too weak for diurnal species. Most feel that two are needed, or better, just use a different kind altogether.
