ZoodulcisModeratorSpencer looks like he’s lovin’ it! About two months old?
ZoodulcisModeratorNext month you can use the flashlight method to determine gender. It’s really handy.
ZoodulcisModeratorYes, and that is actually a good sign.
ZoodulcisModeratorAt his age, an almost entirely protein diet, plus vitamins and minerals, would be appropriate. Not sure what you can do except put earthworms in a blender. I have heard of people doing that.
ZoodulcisModeratorHuh, long claws might explain avoidance of rough wood surfaces, but not a soft substrate like aspen. I got nuthin.’
ZoodulcisModeratorAnd do they play? They certainly seem like they are friends.
ZoodulcisModeratorYes, that is a very good question from AB. Walnut chips are particularly bad for reptiles, due to the sharp edges. I’m guessing that is the nature of the question about cuts, sores, rash etc. on bottoms of feet. The belly should be examined as well. But it’s good that you now have something making him happy. You are very concerned for his wellbeing, which I think is admirable.
ZoodulcisModeratorSounds like he is making a comeback, due to proper care. You think it was prenatal MBD?
ZoodulcisModeratorYes, that is normal for reptiles and amphibians who have recently been relocated. They react to that move with a stress response that makes food unappealing for a while. Give them a few more days, and I bet they start chomping vigorously. What has your experience been, AB?
ZoodulcisModeratorTruly beautiful creature. Do all Jungle Fat-tailed sort that same pattern? I have little experience with this species.
ZoodulcisModeratorHaha…I figured as much. What sort of substrate are you using that is making the frogs dirty?
ZoodulcisModeratorGorgeous pattern! What is this morph?
ZoodulcisModeratorNot sure how helpful the description of two small circles is, no offense. But go to the link provided below, examine the images, and then decide for yourself.
ZoodulcisModeratorDefinitely do not give up! The best way to win would be to enter again next month, and when you do, tell all of your friends and family to log on and vote for you. Last month’s winner did just that after not making it a few times earlier, but persistence paid!
ZoodulcisModeratorCass works either way. He/she looks about 4 months old or so. True?
