ZoodulcisModeratorHave you had him since he was just a little baby Bob?
ZoodulcisModeratorThat’s pretty young. That sort of intense handling is something most owners don’t do, so that may explain the apparent imprinting. That’s fascinating in that it may have changed his young brain, possibly forever. What fun! How old is he now?
ZoodulcisModeratorAn adorable little cling-on. Is she a rescue?
ZoodulcisModeratorI was curious because so many new forum members have pets they acquired in the last 3 months. They are great for children to learn biology lessons and to learn responsibility for their care. Do the kids help out much?
ZoodulcisModeratorThat’s very sensitive of you, respecting her wishes. It helps keep the animal’s stress much lower and extend life. Does she volunteer to be handled a couple of times per week or so?
ZoodulcisModeratorI think that is the first time I have heard of a pet reptile being so bonded to scent. It’s almost like he’s imprinted on you. How old was he when you acquired him?
ZoodulcisModeratorWow, you went all in!! Was this a coronavirus lockdown effort? Or planned long before?
ZoodulcisModeratorProviding all of the luxuries we want our pets to have, like the perfect outdoor cage, sure can become a full-time job. It does give us something to do and keep our mind off unpleasant things.
ZoodulcisModeratorI can think of worse morning sights. Was this little guy or gal out all night?
ZoodulcisModeratorThat’s really interesting that he is so bonded to you and your scent! How did you finally figure out what he needed?
ZoodulcisModeratorI think mealworms are pretty easy, certainly easier than dubia roaches. Keeping dart frogs can be a bit of work, managing that high humidity and all. People that are good at it do love them, however, and don’t mind the effort.
ZoodulcisModeratorYes he does! Did you just get him?
ZoodulcisModeratorOrion seems pretty intense. Have they ever been in direct contact with each other?
ZoodulcisModeratorIt seems like a nice enclosure set-up and she seems happy. Do you take her out for some ‘people’ time every day?
ZoodulcisModeratorWhere did you get him, if I may ask, and what made you decide on this particular reptile pet?
