That’s pretty young. That sort of intense handling is something most owners don’t do, so that may explain the apparent imprinting. That’s fascinating in that it may have changed his young brain, possibly forever. What fun! How old is he now?

Providing all of the luxuries we want our pets to have, like the perfect outdoor cage, sure can become a full-time job. It does give us something to do and keep our mind off unpleasant things.
I think mealworms are pretty easy, certainly easier than dubia roaches. Keeping dart frogs can be a bit of work, managing that high humidity and all. People that are good at it do love them, however, and don’t mind the effort.
