Most people that purchase a pet from Petsmart have the same experience. But they make so much money off of well-meaning rescuers, that they have no corporate motivation to do anything differently. It’s awesome that Toast has a great home now with an ideal setup. She looks very well fed.

I think this is completely adorable. I have heard other tales of females keeping their young inside for a year or more until the time is right. Apparently, you have made her so happy, motherhood seemed practical. Or she couldn’t keep them inside and was about to pop! Anyway, you are in for some fascinating viewing as she feeds her young ones.

I’m not too surprised it was a big box retailer. They often have no idea what they’re selling when it comes to morphs. Waldo seems pretty healthy so far.

Good that he has a new more caring home. So what exactly is it about tarantulas that are so appealing to you? Is it that they are very cool? Very unusual pets that start conversations? Other?
