The beardie looks a little young to be introduced one on one to the Puddy Tat just yet. Do you plan on doing that in the future? Some forum members report that their beardy and their cat are great friends, others say ‘no way’!
Yep its a beardie thing regardless of gender. Living in Florida means your house seldom gets cold enough to trigger this response. Thanks for letting us know that he is a 12-months-of-the-year active kinda guy. Does his appetite fall-off a bit in winter, or is he full bore in that regard as well?
He looks like he is a very good weight, with a round but not massive tail. What sort of lighting do you use for him at night and are you happy with it?
Of course, from the photo’s angle, it looks like he is lying down to get your attention 😉. Can’t tell from the photo if he is a juvenile or an older dude. Looks like a juvenile though. Have you had him long?
Oh good for Mitch, some Beardies won’t touch them. Kale is very high in Oxalic acid, though, which can lead to metabolic bone disease in some beardies. Do you ever switch out his Kale for mustard greens or watercress?
