ZoodulcisModeratorIt’s a salad plate, no it’s a water bowl, no it’s a bathtub, no it’s a bed! This beardie is making the most of it. Does he/she have a name?
ZoodulcisModeratorHi Kirstie, your photo did not attach. Best to try again in order to get sweet Mia into the contest.
ZoodulcisModeratorI assume this picture was taken last year. Either that, or you live in the Caribbean. She is a lovely girl. How old?
ZoodulcisModeratorHi Matthew, I have given you a gold but I also want to advise you that including your email address is not necessary and may not be wise. There are a lot of bored people out there right now, some of whom may not be terribly nice or honest. The winner of the contest will receive a notification sent to the email address they used to sign up. You may want to consider reposting.
ZoodulcisModeratorSo is Norbert a he or a she? If this is a true Harry Potter name, it should be a he, Correct?
ZoodulcisModeratorThat sort of makes you a study buddy, Buddy. Is your young guy learning anything useful?
ZoodulcisModeratorBig Cricket!! I want to offer you a tip on winning the contest. Post just one picture of each pet (it seems to me you have more than one). Then, have all of your bored friends go online to this site and give you a critter gold for each pet, rather than for multiple photos. This really increased your chances. And if they have reptiles, remind them to buy their feeder insects from Critter Depot!
ZoodulcisModeratorThat is one nice looking dish. Do you dust it with any supplements?
ZoodulcisModeratorGood to know in case another forum member asks. With so many people staying home, the pet trade is exploding, along with rescues. Some urban dog and cat shelters are almost out of pets for adoption!! If a forum member finds themselves with a skinny rescue when a pet owner loses a job and can no longer afford those expensive crickets, yours truly here would like to be able to advise them. I will ask them to be patient, get their beardie vet checked and expect to see a plump and totally healthy creature in about 60 days.
ZoodulcisModeratorWill you also be needing chow for junior spikes pretty soon? Being as love is in the air and all!
ZoodulcisModeratorGood for you! I have a real crank about big box pet stores. Their animals are almost never well-cared for. I’m glad you were able to get her for free, since that provides Pancake with a better home and discourages the selling of live animals if it isn’t profitable. I cringe every time someone says they ‘rescued’ a pet from a big box store by purchasing a suffering specimen. Free is a win win for you and the pet and a loss for the store. Wooo Hooooo!!
ZoodulcisModeratorI don’t know how anybody could get any work done at home with those adorable faces to look at instead! Nice photo. How many crickets do the two of them eat every day?
ZoodulcisModeratorLooks like Oscar is still at the vet. Is he a rescue? What all did you have him checked for, and if I may ask, how much did it cost?
ZoodulcisModeratorI just love those huge eyes! Have you posted pix of this guy/gal before?
ZoodulcisModeratorI just love to hear the sound of hedgehogs crunching on crickets and mealworms. Some, to me at least, they make them sound so tasty!
What is she fed in addition to crickets? Cat kibble I assume.
