ZoodulcisModeratorVery creative approach! How big altogether is the enclosure?
ZoodulcisModeratorFrom his expression, Rexxy’s mood may have changed after being dressed up. Just kidding, he’s truly adorable. How old is he?
ZoodulcisModeratorSenior citizens after my own heart. Initiative!!
I’m assuming that he was extremely well cared for but life circumstances made it difficult for the former owners to keep him, so they rehomed him. So now is your son the keeper dude? As in the dude who feeds and cleans and changes the water for Reptar?
ZoodulcisModeratorBoy I’ll say! Way to go Grandparents. So they went out and found this guy for him as a surprise, or did they just help out with the acquisition?
ZoodulcisModeratorDang, he’s a big boy for 7 months. I can see why you love him already. A natural-born cuddler, I bet. What made you decide to get him?
ZoodulcisModeratorOh that’s good news. Sounds like he recovered from his small fright very quickly. That right there is a great indication that he has a flexible and loving personality. What fun he is going to be!
ZoodulcisModeratorThey sure look like they’re happy together. That is one large lizard. How old is he?
ZoodulcisModeratorI concur. I think your new cham will forgive him. One thing he might do is put his hand in and out of the habitat super slowly three times daily for the next week. No contact with Rexxar. This is called habituation. It will speed up the forgiveness process.
ZoodulcisModeratorSo far, your pet’s pet is a mystery since the photo didn’t load. Please reduce the file size and try again.
ZoodulcisModeratorThis sounds like the training and socializing protocol that I would use. Plus it gets the owners into the outdoors as well!
ZoodulcisModeratorA young cutey for sure. Does this little one actually eat all of those veggies?
ZoodulcisModeratorOh that is way too cute! Did they mind being dressed up or did they take all the fuss pretty well? And I see that your girl is Panellope. Is there a story behind the spelling of that name?
ZoodulcisModeratorIt sounds to me like his behavior is right on track. His brain is telling his developing body what it needs. I would offer him both, and if he is leaving bugs behind in favor of veggies consistently, cut back on the bugs a little. That will prevent bugs from hanging out in his enclosure and saves you money!
ZoodulcisModeratorNice set-up. It looks like an above-water aquarium! Your pet seems to like it. He/she has plenty of hammock options. Boy or girl?
ZoodulcisModeratorHappy Thanksgiving Spackle, and I must say, your’s is the funniest name I have heard on this forum in weeks. What is it you do when you are moody?
