Arachniac, you have been a real wealth of information and thank you so much.  Since it can sometimes be hard to get veterinarians to publish prices on services, can you mention the cost of this yearly fecal?  I assume you have all three done separately.

I can see where Galaxy inspired that name.   Really beautiful coloration.  A couple of questions, if you don’t mind…What is a rain chamber and are you ever concerned about parasites when feeding wild caught fodder?

Impressed and inspired.  I have not given my phone camera the credit it deserves.  This information comes at a timely moment. I will be going out of the country for a couple of weeks in September to a very photogenic part of the world.  I was going to take my camera, but since I will be gone for two weeks with carry-on luggage only, the less gear the better.  I will start in in experimenting with my phone’s features and see if perhaps that is all that I need.

Thank you for that input on humidity.  Many new amphibians keepers might make the mistake of over misting.

So companions are appreciated, as long as they are the same size.  Does gender matter?  Also, what is their most favorite food?  Besides crickets, of course!

Eye-ball licking is so entertaining.  We at Critter Depot are so glad more Crested owners are posting.  They really are beautiful and interesting.  How many crickets per day can Thallo put away at this age?

I understand about the whole shedding mood thing.  No worries and I do look forward to seeing that pic when it’s posted.  Keep up the good work on the leash.  Another forum member takes their beardie outside without one and has lost and got it back (fortunately) twice now.  That’s too much risk for my taste, so I encourage folks to get their animals used to a comfortable and well fitted harness and to understand the whole leash gig.
