                    [post_content] => This is Loki. He is our newest addition! So excited to have him! He is a savannah monitor. We are having a custom cage built in the basement for him. Because he will grow very fast and very big😁 he is only a few months old right now and is about 6 inches(??) long right now. He can get up to 4 or 5ft long. He seems to be comfortable in his new home

                    [post_content] => "MOOOOM IT'S PLAY TIME!"
Alfie is our bearded dragon that we adopted 6 months ago from a couple who could no longer give her the time she needed. When she first arrived to our place, she came in with an ATTITUDE. Any time any of us made a sound just a little too loud, she'd close her eyes in absolute annoyance. She only cared about two things, her puffy bed and her dubias. But after getting to bond with her for almost half a year, she has become so attached to us! She will demand just like the image to come out and hang out with us in the bedroom, and will snuggle on our shoulder. She's still one sassy girl, if anything upsets her such as too many books, she'll close her eyes in an eye roll way. She's grown closer to us so much and we love her even if she's a bit of a drama queen! ❤

                    [post_content] => Just wanted to let anyone who has noticed this, what it is. When your Leo has little pouches under his armpit (looks like a fat bubble) that is because theyre getting too much calcium (or other vitamins/minerals) and their bodies are getting more than they can use, so its storing it. Just stop dusting with for a little while (id say a week max, depending on how often you feed) and use less when you start again. I just had to do this. (could also mean your leo is a little overweight.)

                    [post_content] => Hi Guys,

My daughter and I are quite heartbroken and confused after the death a week apart of 2 of our 3, 8 month old Pixie frogs(got from the wild). We are first time frog owners and I have been doing a lot of research and thought I had set their habitat up quite well with everything they needed. As I mentioned they were about 8 months old, I replaced their water almost weekly with 80% bottled mineral water, the tank has a filter. its a 30/70 water to land paludarium. We keep the humidity between 60 - 80% and the temperature does not go below 18 degrees Celsius. we started them off on baby crickets and mealworms, as they got older we switched to super worms and larger crickets. when the season changed they started eating a lot less and stopped eating super worms all together. at the start of winter I added a 50W black heat globe approximately 200mm from the ground which they thoroughly enjoyed and spent most of their time under basking. their ground is made up of coco fiber, plants and stones, there are spring tales in the tank for housekeeping.

Like I said it was business as usual and within a week 2 have died, the third is berried and I don't want to disturb it till we have some good advise on how to proceed. My only suspicions is that there could be too much food in the tank(I always make sure there are 2 - 3 crickets walking around)?

any advice would be appreciated.

                    [post_content] => How you doin? My name is Geico, I'm 7 months old and growing like a Beardie lol. I love hanging out in my Aloe watching my mom get my crickets dusted! She makes sure they are gut loaded and nutritious so I can grow up big and strong. I just play it cool till she dumps them in and then the hunt is on! Can you give me some gold so I can get free crickets? That would be awesome! I could chase even more crickets and have lots of fun!!!
