This is Mushu, my 4 month old dragon...he’s such a handsome little guy, isn’t he? 😀 He’s a very sweet boy who LOVES to eat! He’s currently eating about 60 crickets/day plus a salad! But so far, he only likes watercress, dandelion greens and yellow squash! He also enjoys being petted, held and snuggling in his blanket after bath time! Oh yeah, AND he loves his log!!!....he can be found on it most of the time and DOES not like it being moved!!! #❤️beardiesuniquepersonalities

[post_content] => Mekhi is a sweetheart. She enjoys giving snuggles, car rides, and of course sleeping. She absolutely refuses to open her eyes until her daylight bulbs kick on. Watching her with her crickets is hilarious. She's so proud when she grabs one, but if she biffs it and misses you can tell she's utterly embarrassed.

[post_content] => Isn’t she the most prettiest thing you’ve ever seen. I call her Tangi for short, and she is just a baby. I am in midlife crisis, and instead of a dog, I got myself a Beardie.  I am just so in love with her. So as you can see by her tank, I am a newbie at this. Buying crickets every day is killing my pocketbook. I just want to make sure that Tangi eats well.  Tangi and I rest together watching TV at night, and she lays on my upper chest, skin to skin, just like a brand new baby.  I know that this will be the beginning of a beautiful relationship. But she could really use a boat load of crickets 🦗

[post_content] => It's that time of year when our bearded dragons start to show signs of sluggishness, lethargic, and disinterested. And many concerned owners may think their bearded dragon is ill. But fear not! Because when the days start to get short, and the temps start to drop, bearded dragons will enter a state called brumation.

Bearded dragons, and all other reptiles, can't survive cold temps. So they don't hibernate like mammals. Instead, they slow down their movements and reduce their consumption. And this reduction in activity is brumation.

Many scientists hypothesis that brumation helps promote breeding in the spring time. So if you're attempting to breed bearded dragons, you'll want to try and encourage brumation in their synthetic habitat. You can learn more about bearded dragon brumation in our comprehensive guide.
