      Are mosquitoes and dragonflies safe for a bearded dragon? A mosquito gets in his cage every once in a while, but I get it out before he eats it. I see different opinions on it. Some does say no other sites say they are perfectly fine as long as no insecticides we’re used. Same thing for dragonflies. There are literally hundreds of them when I walk outside.

      Honestly, I don’t know. My sense is that dragonflies should be fine if they have not been exposed to any toxins. About the mosquitos, my concern would be diseases. They carry so many, but most are transferred during a blood meal on their victim. If they are consumed and the digestive process destroys all pathogens, then they could be just fine. I will have to look this up and get back to you.
