      Cricket contest – April 2020 Winner!

      Rocky enjoying his morning cuddles! Anyone else’s beardie love to be held like this?! He sure is loved and sure does eat a TON of crickets. He’s a 4.5 month old little guy and is an awesome addition to our family.

      Although beardies can be as individual as people, I have noticed from several dozen responses by forum members that some are quite affectionate and crave human touch in much this same way. What made you decide to get a beardie?

        My son has always had a love for reptiles and after years of research and waiting, we have him Rocky for his birthday! He is very affectionate and a terrific pet. I will say, we were not prepared in just how much love food they eat when they are under 18 months 😬
