
Dubia roaches are a classic “lean protein” feeder, whereas superworms have a pretty high protein content, but are much higher in fat. As far as keeping them goes, they’re both insects that people commonly keep inside, and make pretty good roommates. The main difference to cost is that superworms have two life stages, so they need two different enclosures. They also go through substrate more quickly than dubia roaches.
