      Should i be worried

      Gromila keeps putting her butt in the air. Idk if shes doing it as a defense but there’s nothing near her that should trigger her. I go to check on her in her hideout an shes just standing there with her butt in the air. Any tarantula owners know what this means an should i be worried.?

        The people said she been alone for 8 years so im sure shes not pregnant.

          OK so that’s not it. I have asked around and people have mentioned that theirs did that too, and then suddenly just stopped. Others felt it was definitely a threat display and that eventually, they will get over it.

          I agree with Zoo. She may sense or see you there and are doing it thinking you are a predator. To me it definitely looks like her trying to make herself look bigger. I imagine she’ll stop once she learns you mean her no harm.
