Horny just relaxing

Horny just relaxing. Doesn’t he look so relaxed and comfortable with his legs just dangling off of his log with no cares in the world. He loves his bugs and greens. His food bowl is empty cause he at all his greens. He just eats and eats like there won’t be food later. He eats and eats then runs straight for that log to relax. That little vine in the back is the one that always bends when he gets on it, so he upgraded to a bigger sturdier vine. He hasn’t been on it yet so I don’t know if he likes it or not.

I must say since AB suggested about his hot side being a little to hot, he is acting like his normal self. I have to turn the bigger heat lamp off for a while then turn it back on. When I take him out he gets excited then he scratches me while running on me. I think it’s time to get his nails or claws cut? Are you supposed to cut them?

I would clip them. It prevents them from snagging in fabrics or carpets and causing toe injury.

Awesome, I’m glad he’s doing better. If youre worried or unable to clip his nails you can use textured grip tape on something and put it some place for him to climb on and wear them down himself. I use it for one of my less tame sugar gliders. I am thinking of getting them clipped when it gets warmer out. A friend said she will clip them. I won’t even clip my dogs nails I take them to a vet to clip. It scares me, I might clip down to far.
