      Cricket Contest

      This big guy is named Swatch, he is a panther chameleon. He is my first pet and I love watching him grow everyday and see his colors become more vibrant. His favorite time of day is when he gets fed his crickets (while I try to sneak in a couple healthy roaches and greens)

      He seems to be scanning the terrain right now for those crickets. What made you decide that a chameleon was the right first pet for you?

        My family has had a veiled chameleon before, and this species soon became my favorite animal.

          I can understand that. The animals we have as pets as children inform our preferences later iin life. Not making that up, sociologists have looked at this. I assume you were a little kid when you guys got you first chameleon?
