      Cricket Contest

      This is Rango. He is the most awesome leopard gecko ever. He loves to hang out in his hammock and stare vacantly into the distance. My daughter, Vivian, is his primary human, but as the default adult human, I never would have imagined I would bond so much with a lizard, but this little guy has stolen my heart. Please give Rango some love!

      Rango is good sized! And he looks to be a great weight and generally well socialized. Well done! Does Vivian handle him every day? And yes, it’s perfectly normal to fall in love with a reptile. Millions do it and I am surprised at the folks who think it’s weird. People fall in love with their birds, how is falling in love with your lizard or snake any different? 😏

        Here’s a shot of Rango in his enclosure. I printed out a color copy of a desert scene to try to make him feel at home!
