Thanks for sharing! But I’m curious, are you using a red light in your dragon’s tank? If so, red light can cause neurological problems for bearded dragons.
Red Lights for nighttime use are visible to the beardie and may disrupt sleep cycles. During the day, it causes distortion in their visual field and can damage the eye itself. For night time a ceramic heat emitter is recommended and for daytime, a UVB bulb or two, and maybe an additional CHE if the ambient temperature of the room stays on the chilly side. Yes, they are more expensive than the ‘brooder lamps,’ but over time are much better for Chief’s health.
