Hello, has anyone tried to bake their eco earth that’s not in brick form? If so, how’d you do it and what temperature and time did you do it at?

Howdy, Eco-earth should not need to be baked right out of the package.  However, if you are trying to recycle it, I would bake it in an oven pre-heated to 250 degrees F for 1/2 hour.  Spread it out on a cookie sheet no more than 2 inches deep and distribute it evenly.  The eco-earth should also be uniformly dry in advance, with no wet clumps. Once baked evenly at the temperature recommended (and pre-heated is important or it might not be sufficient) then that should kill all molds, fungi and bacteria.  Then it should be ready for a reincarnation.  After two bakings, I would discard it before it turns to powder.
