      Anyone who knows about hermit crabs.

      I have 3 hermit crabs an this morning i found pieces of legs an claw. I instantly thought that one ate the other so i quickly checked they where all 3 there an all there legs an claws are there an they are perfectly fine. Could this be part of a molt.?

      I assume they are molting, I used to have some saltwater hermits for about 2 years which I had caught in florida and a lot of claws and legs would be found at the bottom of the tank

        They molt about every 16-18 months, depending on how much they are fed. They will need a new and larger shell provided for them during that time.
