        Sadly, all of my critters (31) are rescues. They have come from either Craigslist or people known to need new homes or actual rescue I check with. They keep me sane in an insane world.

          A pretty name for a pretty girl. And yeah, they do keep us centered and comforted in a world gone mad. Do you rescue all kinds of critters, or just reptiles?

          Two of my four dogs are rescues and I have had many in my past years that have been. But my true love are the reptiles (and axolotls). I guess I am more of lover of the cold blooded species. Makes for vacations a little difficult, but when you make a life you love, you don’t need a vacation from it, right?

          True, but sometimes a break makes you appreciate that life even more. Have you been able to find reliable pet care to allow you to get away sometimes?
