This is Diamond she’s 2 years old. She’s pretty chunky and I love it. She loves to hug and kiss mommy and enjoy sitting outside to watch the scenery outside. You can’t tell her she’s not human she looks like a old lady sitting outside while paying attention to every sound. That’s my spoiled baby.

Yes ma’am I got her when she was a week old.

And now she’s two. I bet you guys are super bonded. What made you decide to get a beardie back then?

Yes that’s my baby. I have friends who has bearded dragons and I always loved their lil personality. I had to get one of my own.

Sounds like an excellent reason. One of my favorite comedians, Paula Poundstone has a very spoiled beardie and the two of them are definitely best friends.

Perhaps this is indelicate, but just how many crickets does she eat each month?

She eats around 10 to 12 crickets a day.

I normally buy 500 a month and they will last about a month and a half.

Oh that’s not too bad. Does she eat much in the way of greens or fruit like raspberries?

Yes she loves her greens. She also eats blueberries, strawberries, and squash.

She is one spoiled gal, in a very good way. What do you dust her crickets and veggies with?

Yes she is! I use Repti calcium.

A wise choice. What do you gut load her crickets with?

I gut load them with collard greens and sweet potatoes.

Collard greens for Vitamin A and other goodies, sweet potatoes for Beta Carotene. An excellent combination!

Lol, I love how chunky she is. I actually thought she was pregnant when I first saw her. I have a Sugar Glider that’s the same way.

Aww… no she’s not pregnant just pleasantly plump lol.

I think its adorable. I tend to like my pets a little on the plump side, not fat (though one sugar glider definitely is lol) just plump enough where ya have no doubt they are eating their fill and getting everything they need.
