I thought the correct hot spot for beardies were between 90-100f. And 80-90 for cool side. I have not owned one though, just like learning about different pets and their care. (Google is great for learning anything. lol) Ive actually thought that myself about the bulbs though. I always figured if my animals are more active and eating better, then I assume they are working. Other than that the color spectrum should tell ya. Here’s some links i found on it.
