
Dubia roaches and crickets are both what we call a “lean protein” feeder. But the comparison pretty much stops there. These two species have very different life histories, growth rates, and some key nutritional differences that make them very different. Dubia roaches are best for low-production indoor feeder farms, so we recommend them if you have one pet and want to keep your feeders inside. Crickets produce feeders fast in a more high-maintenance setup, and most people prefer to keep them outside.
